Brent is a dedicated life-long student of the life insurance business, now specializing in estate and tax planning.  Brent has held regional field management positions with two of the largest Canadian insurers and prior to co-founding Barron’s he was Vice President, Insurance & Estate Planning Services with a major Bay Street investment banker.

In addition to his professional designations, he is a member of Advocis, the Financial Advisors Association of Canada, the Chartered Life Underwriters Institute, and the Financial Planners Standards Council. He is currently “Best Practices” chair within the Board of Directors of Advocis Peel/Halton.

Brent also holds a mutual fund license through the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada.
